I'm taking a black and white traditional photography course and I wanted to give some awesome artists a bit of exposure on here because traditional photography is a lot of work compared to digital. I didn't really appreciate digital until I spent hours and hours in the darkroom trying to make just ONE print. So, to all you film photographers, you're doing an awesome job. Keep it up. For my textiles class we're focusing on silk paintings right now and they're a lot of fun. Very different from any other type of painting in some senses and that they are harder to do concerning the migration of the dyes. I'm planning on moving to Australia as soon as I'm done with college here, and hopefully I'll have the funds by then. Any creative ideas on how to make a bit of money? Moving internationally is pricey, and I need more savings. I'm completely new to this, so any advice from you Aussies or from anyone else I would really appreciate it.
